Beáta Szoboszlai leads the energy industry and utility service consulting team in her new position.
Beáta Szoboszlai started her career at the Budapest Stock Exchange, where she was responsible for market development – including the development of derivative products – and then turned her attention to the energy sector at an international strategic consulting company. At MOL, he first dealt with risk management (ERM), then with group-level strategy, and during this time he obtained a CFA qualification.
As the head of the strategic planning area at the MVM Group, he got to know all areas of the energy value chain, and thanks to the position of chief economist, he gained an even broader insight into the energy sector and macroeconomic processes. In addition to numerous strategic projects, he also led a large-scale innovation project aimed at the integration of renewables.
The specialist started consulting again in the spring of 2023, and then joined the business consulting division of PwC Hungary at the beginning of November. As a director, his focus is on the dynamically transforming domestic energy sector and the conscious and sustainable development of energy use by business actors.
Bea graduated as an economist from Corvinus University and holds a diploma in finance and law. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and traveling with her family and their adopted dog. In addition, he is an enthusiastic consumer of culture and regularly attends theaters, concerts, and exhibitions.
