CES 2023 is in full swing, hence more information about technological innovations is coming to PurePC. This time it’s time to present new monitors from Acer, which will go on sale in the second quarter of this year. So far, we know the price of only one of the models – curved and ultrapanoramic. Acer Predator X45, because we are talking about it, is to cost about 1800 euros. Yes, euros, not zlotys. So let’s see what it has to offer…
Acer announced two new monitors – Predator X27U and Predator X45. We are dealing with a flat and strongly curved OLED panel, as well as with a relatively small and huge structure.

Let’s start, however, with the Acer Predator X27U model, i.e. with a more classic design (flat matrix), and certainly cheaper. And so, the X27U is a 27-inch model, offering WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 px), extremely narrow frames, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, two HDMI 2.0 ports and a DCI-P3 color gamut coverage of 98.5%. The same level of coverage is also provided by the Acer Predator X45 model. In addition, both of these monitors are equipped with OLED matrices with a refresh rate of 240 Hz.

The already mentioned ultrawide (aspect ratio = 21:9) Acer Predator X45 model is characterized by a 45-inch 1440p matrix with a very large, immersive 800R curvature. As it turns out, however, the curvature and dimensions of the matrix are the few distinguishing features of this model, as both X27U and X45 will offer HDR10 work, peak brightness of 1000 nits and AMD FreeSync Premium technology. We have to wait for more detailed information about both novelties until it is closer to their store premiere.
