According to the plans, the company will soon establish an engineering office in Debrecen, which will bring the number of employees to 220.

About half a billion HUF was spent on the expansion of the services of Aero Space Power Kft. in Kisvárda, which deals with the repair of aircraft engine parts and industrial gas turbine parts, on the construction of a vacuum furnace, which was handed over on Wednesday in the small town of Upper Szabolc.

According to managing director Attila Kürthy, the company employing 185 employees realized the investment on its own.

The maintenance organization approved by the European and American aviation authorities deals with the repair of air, gas and hydraulic pipes, stationary gear blades and parts inside the turbine of CFM56 type and General Electric GE90 type aircraft engines, one of the most common in civil aviation, at its site in Kisvárda.

In addition, they also service large components of gas turbine engines, assemble electronic control cabinets for gas turbine housings and produce special welded structures for wind power plants, he added.

The custom-made vacuum furnace, which weighs about 22 tons and can be used for the heat treatment of aircraft engine and industrial gas turbine components, was built for more than a year, and installation and commissioning took four months. The equipment capable of accommodating two tons of charge can be operated at up to 1,300 degrees Celsius, which is essential due to the superalloys (cobalt, titanium, nickel alloys) used in the aerospace industry.

According to the plans, the company will soon establish an engineering office in Debrecen, which will bring the number of employees to 220.
