Yesterday, Intel and NVIDIA introduced new generations of processors and graphics for laptops, which is a great time to present the latest notebooks from leading manufacturers. Just yesterday we discussed the proposals of ASUS, which introduced a lot of novelties both in the ROG Strix series, as well as in the ROG Zephyrus and ROG Flow families. Next in line is Alienware, which also presents a whole range of new generation laptops at CES 2023, including the top Alienware x16 and Alienware x18 models.
Alienware has presented a number of new notebooks, and the Alienware x14, Alienware x16 and Alienware m18 models promise to be the most interesting.
ASUS ROG Strix and ROG Zephyrus – premiere of laptops with Intel Raptor Lake-HX, AMD Ryzen 7000 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000
This year we can expect several new and refreshed Alienware laptops. After years, the manufacturer returns to the 18″ proposal with the Alienware m18 model. Both Alienware m18 and Alienware m16 will be based on Intel Raptor Lake-HX processors (up to 24-core Core i9-13900HX and Core i9-13980HX inclusive) and a new generation of processors AMD Ryzen 7000 with up to 16 Zen 4 cores. Variants with Intel processors will be combined with the new generation of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 graphics chips, while those with AMD Ryzen will be paired with the new Radeon RX 7000M, based on the RDNA 3 architecture. Both Alienware m16 and and Alienware m18 will each receive the only variant of the IPS screen with an extremely high refresh rate, reaching 480 Hz, or a response time of 3 ms. Laptops will also not despise ports, because there will be a lot of them (and interestingly, almost all of them will be placed on the back of laptops) The laptops will debut on the market in the second quarter of the year, with only the starting price for the Alienware m16 revealed for now – this will start with from $1899.
