AMD at the beginning of the life of the Zen 4 microarchitecture did not decide to release systems with the “X3D” ending, i.e. using the 3D V-Cache packaging technology. So far, only one such processor has appeared – Ryzen 7 5800X3D – using the Zen 3 microarchitecture. There have been various information about Ryzen 7000X3D processors over the past few weeks, but the latest ones are much more optimistic. The presentation of the new systems is to take place next month.
According to the latest information, AMD will show Ryzen 7000X3D processors with 16, 12 and 8 Zen 4 cores in January.
AMD officially lowers prices for Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X and Ryzen 5 7600X processors
On the QuazarZone portal (the same where the results of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition after UV and with a reduced power limit were published a few days ago) very interesting information about AMD Ryzen 7000X3D processors appeared. The original text has since been deleted, but all the major news has been picked up by Twitter user @harukaze5719. It turns out that AMD has plans to present three Zen 4 processors with 3D V-Cache, and the announcement itself would take place during CES 2023. This is not the first time this conference has been mentioned, so it looks like it is indeed coming much anticipated presentation. The company plans to introduce systems with 16, 12 and 8 cores Zen 4. This is a significant change from previous rumors, which only talked about 6 and 8-core SKUs. Thus, we expect the following models: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D (16/32), AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D (12/24) and AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D or Ryzen 7 7800X3D (8/16, in this case the final name is not confirmed).

AMD Dragon Range – top Ryzen 7045 processors for notebooks are to offer RDNA 3 graphics
All AMD Ryzen 7000X3D processors are to offer a base TDP of 170 W, but unlike the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, the clocks are to remain at a very similar level to the current models of the Ryzen 9 and Ryzen 7 series (slightly lower clock speeds are possible). Keeping the clocks close is to result in similar performance in all applications where the additional L3 cache stack has no effect on performance. If AMD decides to expand the L3 cache similarly to the existing Ryzen 7 5800X3D model, then the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D systems would have a total of 192 MB L3, while the Ryzen 7 7700X3D (or R7 7800X3D) would offer 96 MB L3. QuazarZone also published three graphs with the expected performance of the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D processor in combination with DDR5 6000 MHz RAM. If these performances are confirmed, we would be dealing with a really very efficient gaming system. Everything indicates that in a month we will see whether the information about the specification and potential performance of the Ryzen 7000X3D systems turns out to be true.
They shared 3 exclusive Zen 4 3D info.
1) Three Ryzen 7000X3D model is confirmed. 16/12/8C. But about 8C model, it isn’t determined model name whether7700X3D or 7800X3D
2) Unlike Zen 3 3D, clock speed will be the same or at least almost the same.
3) It is expected Jan 23. Sat CES.

From this point on, these are guess based on exclusive info.
R7 5800X is fixed at 4.4G, so can represent only 3D Cache difference.
Equally applied to the Ryzen 7000 series based on 5800X – 5800X3D perf improvements
