For several weeks, information about AMD Ryzen 7000 processors with lower energy limits (and without the letter X in the name) has been regularly appearing on the web – a few days ago we informed about the first store offers for AMD Ryzen 9 7900 and AMD Ryzen 7 7700 units. Meanwhile, the WCCFTech portal , citing its own sources, indicates the exact date of the show of the discussed processors as well as their release date in stores. It looks like we won’t be waiting long for cheaper Zen 4 chips.
According to the latest reports, AMD Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700 and Ryzen 5 7600 processors will debut in stores on January 10, 2023.
AMD Ryzen 7000X3D – Zen 4 processors with 3D V-Cache to be presented at CES 2023
According to the WCCFTech portal, AMD’s conference at CES 2023 (this will take place on January 5) will focus not only on Ryzen 7000 mobile systems or Ryzen 7000X3D processors, but also on cheaper Zen 4 units: Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700 and Ryzen 5 7600. All three The systems will be presented during the said conference, and their store debut was prepared for January 10, so only 5 days later. Depending on the specific CPU model, the prices are expected to be between $70 and $120 lower compared to their counterparts with the letter X in the name (comparing premiere prices, not current prices).

Sets with AMD Ryzen 9 7900 and AMD Ryzen 7 7700 processors are already appearing in stores – the premiere may take place soon
So if the information from WCCFtech is confirmed, we will have to pay $ 429 for the AMD Ryzen 9 7900, $ 329 for the Ryzen 7 7700 and $ 229 for the Ryzen 5 7600. In terms of construction, the Zen 4 systems without the letter X in the name will be the same as before. Therefore, the number of cores and threads, as well as the capacity of the L2 and L3 cache memory, will not change. During the AMD conference, we may also hear something specific about the cheaper AMD A620 chipset, but in this case the store premiere will take place around the second quarter of 2023.
