Currently, 30 companies employ 400 people in the Tüske industrial area.
In Dombóvár, the development and expansion of the industrial area in the Tüske district will be completed with HUF 231 million government support. Ten hectares of industrial land were renovated with a brown field investment, six hectares of new plots were created, and the work will be completed by the end of January.
The municipality requested the extra support because the HUF 487 million received in 2020 from the Territorial and Settlement Development Operational Program for the project planned in 2017 was not enough for the development, he added.
As part of the project, a new service road was built in the existing industrial park, the road surface was strengthened and widened, a rainwater drain and solar street lighting were created. To the south of Gunarasi út, excavation roads for six new lots, rainwater drains, water and sewage networks were built, as well as solar-powered public lighting.
Currently, 30 companies employ 400 people in the Tüske industrial area; one company has so far bought a site in the new part, and the remaining five plots will be sold by spring.
