The legendary comedy actor Vivek passed away suddenly on April 17th 2020 shocking the film fraternity and millions of his fans. The Chinna Kalaivanar as he was fondly known was not only an entertainer but also a social activist who followed in the footsteps of the late Indian President APJ Abdul Khalam. He planted millions of tree saplings on the bequest of the late leader and contributed for the greenery of the state of Tamil Nadu.
Today on the occasion of the birthday of Abdul Khalam, actor Arya planted saplings and later spoke to the media. He stated that when acting with Vivek in ‘Aranmanai 3’ he became close to the late comedian who asked him to join in his tree planting crusade. Arya had promised to collaborate with Vivek but the latter left for his heavenly abode.
Arya added that he wanted to fulfil the promise he made to Vivek and thats why he planted the sapling in his memory. He also promised that he would continue the good work as a mark of respect to Vivek.
Arya’s ‘Aranmanai 3’ directed by Sundar C and costarring Andrea Jeremiah has released in theaters on October 14th. His next film ‘Enemy’ directed by Anand Shankar and costarring Vishal is slated for release on November 4th as a grand Diwali treat.
