A new function discovered in the Whatsapp latest beta version will allow block other people or groups in a much faster and easier way. The change, although it is not yet available to users of the messaging app, should arrive very soon with a WhatsApp update.

A shortcut to block contacts in a faster way
To this day, for block someone on whatsapp it is necessary to access the application settings, and within the “Privacy” section, choose the contact you want to block. The process for blocking people whose phone number is not saved in our phonebook is easier, since the application itself gives the option of directly blocking the number.
But WhatsApp plans simplify this process via a shortcut built into the options menu of the initial screen of the application. For now, this option is hidden in version 2.23.2.4 of WhatsApp Beta for Android, whose deployment has already begun through the Google Play Store for users adhering to the testing program.
