Chieftec Hunter 2 – an airy and affordable housing goes on sale

Typically, computer hardware manufacturers boast about the top, largest and most expensive cases for the most efficient PCs. Meanwhile, the Taiwanese Chieftec some time ago presented a refreshed product from the Hunter series, a line that combines elegance, airiness and affordable pricing. The Hunter 2 housing hits store shelves in Poland today (October 30, 2023). So let’s take a closer look at it and answer the question: what can we fit in it?

Chieftec is introducing today (October 30, 2023) a refreshed version of the elegant, airy and affordable Hunter series housing.

Chieftec Hunter 2 is an ATX case with a depth of 408 mm, a width of 210 mm and a height of 464 mm. The product has standard walls made of SPCC steel with a thickness of 0.5 mm. Noteworthy is the side panel made of tempered glass, which can be opened using built-in hinges. The front of the case is made of mesh covered with panels on the sides
made of brushed aluminum creating a neat and elegant look. We can fit it inside the housing motherboards in the following formats: mini ITX, micro ATX and ATX. The manufacturer also provided space for a tower cooling air with a height of up to 170 mm, graphics cards with a length of no more than 320 mm and ATX power supplies no longer than 180 mm.

The front of the case can accommodate three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans. Additionally, the front can accommodate liquid cooling radiators up to 280 mm long. At the top we will install two fans with a diameter of 120 mm or 140 mm. However, the back will accommodate one piece with a diagonal of 120 mm. It is worth adding that we get four RAINBOW A-RGB fans pre-installed. There are two 3.5-inch bays for HDD drives, which can also be used in 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch configurations. In addition, there is space for two 2.5-inch SSD/HDD drives. The I/O panel located on the top contains standard audio outputs, two buttons controlling the included A-RGB controller (brightness and mode), a USB 3.1 Gen 1 connector and a USB Type C port. Hunter 2 housing we can buy it today (October 30, 2023) in Polish stores. It is also worth noting that the manufacturer suggested a price of PLN 299 including VAT.
