In the current World Cup series, the England team has suffered consecutive defeats and has left without advancing to the semi-finals. However, England player David Willey has announced that he will retire from all types of international cricket including ODI and T20 with this World Cup being held in India.
In his post about retirement, he said, “I never wanted this day to retire. Because I dreamed of playing for England since I was a child. It is with great sadness that I realize now that the time has come for me to retire from international cricket as well. I am proud to be a part of the England team.
