Only yesterday we informed you about the premiere trailer of Dead Space Remake, one of the first major productions to appear on the market in 2023. EA Motive studio is responsible for a full-fledged refresh of the iconic production, which has been happy to talk about the next stages of production in recent weeks. Less than two weeks before the launch, we received a number of details about the technical aspects of Dead Space. We got to know the hardware requirements for PC and the image modes on consoles.
The developers from EA Motive have finally confirmed the technical details of Dead Space Remake, both on PC and current-gen consoles.
Dead Space Remake – Premiere Trailer gives us a foretaste of the classic story in a new edition
The developers from EA Motive have published the minimum and recommended system requirements for Dead Space. Unfortunately, it was not revealed to what resolution, details and smoothness of the image they were prepared. However, it is impossible not to notice that they are not among the lowest. Already in the minimum set we have 6-core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 and AMD Radeon RX 5700 graphics cards. In the case of the recommended ones, we already have strong, 6-core and 12-thread units, i.e. Intel Core i5-11600K and AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. In the case of cards, the shelf jumped much higher – to the GeForce RTX 2070 and Radeon RX 6700 XT.

It was also confirmed that the game will support Ray Tracing. Two image modes have been prepared for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players, so rather everyone will be satisfied here. In Quality mode (picture quality), the game will take place in native 4K resolution and 30 frames per second. Quality mode will also have Ray Tracing active. The second mode is Performance, where the game will be rendered in 1440p and at a constant 60 frames per second. Ray Tracing will be absent in this mode. We bet that only the latter mode will be available on Xbox Series S, but we are not sure if it will be in the same form (1440p/60 FPS).
Looking for #DeadSpace specs? We’ve got you covered. Console players have the option to choose between 2 graphics modes:
