Jagamae Thandiram is all set to be released on digital platforms tomorrow and in an exclusive interview with us music director Santhosh Narayanan opens up on his experience in working a back-to-back Dhanush film.

When he was complimented by the host saying he is like a chameleon in trying various genres of music and giving what is needed to film, the ‘Karnan’ composer accepted it with whole heart and “He said I am proud to claim to be a chameleon in that sense,” as music plays an important part in every film.

Working with different actors and various directors is a unique experience and when a question was shot at him asking about his experience while composing ‘Rakita Rakita’ song he said, ” introductory songs always reflect some aspects of the actor’s life, especially when composing intro songs for mass actors like Rajini, Kamal, Ajith and Vijay, the songs will be set as their real life characters and events that took place. Likewise this song also in someway represents Dhanush’s life and also helps the listeners to empower themselves.” He also added that this song helped him to overcome stress which he was experiencing during the time of Covid-19 breakout and eventually became his favourite song.

His recent album along with Dhee and Arivu became world famous and this new venture from his side opened many gates for new talents. He is known for his unique style of music which can make our legs dance to him beats, in the same way the song ‘Manjanathi’ from ‘Karnan’ was also well praised by the audience through it speaks majorly about death. And one such song ‘Kallarai’ is present in the film ‘Jagamae Thandiram’ and opening up on which Narayanan said “through the genre and visual structure seems to be same, the lyrical meaning of both the song is entirely different; while ‘Manjanathi’ speaks of death, the song ‘Kallarai’ speaks about the after effects of it.
