Vijay Sethupathi, who will reportedly feature in Atlee’s Jawan, started trending on Twitter. While the actor’s association with the project is yet to be confirmed, fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay Sethupathi started sharing tweets about their possible collaboration already. Some fans even designed fanposters featuring the two stars. “Just can’t wait, so made a fan-made poster,” wrote a Twitter user. Another fam described the collaboration of both the actors as a “dream combo.” Earlier a Pinkvilla report stated that Vijay Sethupathi will play the antagonist in the film. “Vijay Sethupathi is in talks for the role of villain with Jawan makers but nothing is official yet. He is yet to give his nod for the film so there is no truth about him joining the shoot soon in Mumbai. He is still working on his dates only for Atlee,” the Pinkvilla report stated.

Another fan dug out an old video of the two stars from 2019.

Sharing the teaser of Jawan earlier this year, SRK wrote: “An action-packed 2023! Bringing Jawan to you, an explosive entertainer in cinemas 2nd June 2023. In Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.” The film will be produced by SRK’s wife Gauri Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan, who was MIA from films since the last 4 years, made a cameo appearance in Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. SRK has also been fairly active as a producer in the last few years. He has co-produced Alia Bhatt’s Darlings, which marks her debut as a film producer. He also backed the standalone film on Bob Biswas, featuring Abhishek Bachchan in the titular role, which released last year.

Other than that, Shah Rukh Khan also backed the film Love Hostel, which starred Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra and Vikrant Massey in the lead roles. He wrapped the Spain schedule of Pathaan earlier this year. The film stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He will also star in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, co-starring Taapsee Pannu.
