Final Fantasy XVI – the first materials from the game show great momentum. It’s definitely something to look forward to

At a little over an hour long Square Enix panel during Pax East, new fragments from Final Fantasy XVI were presented (you can find the whole movie at the end of the news). It shows that the developers are trying to prepare a diverse map – it will be divided into several separate areas, and each part will be characterized by a completely different visual setting. An important detail regarding the game’s operation on the PlayStation 5 console has also been confirmed. Final Fantasy XVI will be available with two image modes – Graphics and Frame Rate. The former will offer native 4K resolution, better quality textures and gameplay at 30 frames per second. The Frame Rate mode, of course, focuses on smoothness. Here, players can count on a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and 60 FPS.

Thanks to this, the creators give players a choice – those who prefer better visuals will receive the Graphics mode, and those who prefer smoothness over quality will also get something perfectly tailored to these needs. Square Enix has also confirmed the possibility of pre-release testing of Final Fantasy XVI. Two weeks before the premiere, a demo version will be published, which will allow for initial testing of both image modes. The production will debut on the market on June 22, so the demo should be made available on June 8.
