Giving out a flavor of Android 12, Realme has whipped out a brand-new update for the Realme 9 5G Speed, popularly known as SE. The Realme 9 5G Speed comes with all the cool primary features that Google offers with its most recent operating system, including grayscale screens, one-handed mode, scrolling screenshots, and material design.

The AI Smooth Engine, the brand’s own design solution with Global Theme and Quantum Animation Engine, is added to the 9 5G Speed. The UI must be upgraded to RMX3461 11.A.11 in order to receive the update. The rollout will happen in stages; it is randomly applied to a small number of devices, and assuming there are no serious bugs, the remaining Realme 9 5G Speed devices should shortly receive it.

Nothing

Very first update out for Nothing Phone 1

This week, Nothing Phone (1) launched a new software update for its users that includes a number of adjustments, some new features, and enhancements all at once. Nothing has crammed a lot of features, including the most recent July 2022 security patch, into a package that is only 117MB overall.

The smartphone Nothing Phone 1 now has a better camera thanks to the most recent software update. It includes the Glyph fill light’s accessibility in the camera’s portrait mode. Additionally, it enhances dynamic range, lowers noise, and improves photo quality when taking pictures in low light. The changelog also includes enhancements to the photo quality and colour uniformity across the main and ultra-wide camera sensors of the Nothing Phone 1 smartphone.

The latest software update for the Nothing Phone 1 then brings about bug fixes and performance enhancements. Nothing has been done to resolve the smartphone’s fingerprint icon being hidden on the lock screen problem. The Nothing Phone 1’s battery life has also been improved, particularly when the device is left on standby. With this update, the smartphone’s Glyph interface’s dependability and face unlock functionality both enhanced. Other small bug fixes exist as well, although they are not listed in the changelog.

LG

Despite winding up its smartphone division earlier this year, LG continues to keep its promise to upgrade its smartphones to Android 12. As we’ve previously discussed, LG just updated the LG Wing and V50 ThinQ to Android 12 software. Of these two smartphones, only the LG Wing will receive Android 13.

The G8X ThinQ, which debuted in late 2019 with Android 9.0 Pie, will follow the same rules. According to XDA Developers, LG has made Android 12 available for the LM-G850EMW model number of the G8X ThinQ’s global variant. Despite Google releasing the July 2022 security patch, Android 12 for the G8X ThinQ is distributed as V40a and includes the June 2022 Android security patch.

July update for Mi A3

The Mi A3’s July 2022 security patch is now being distributed globally by Xiaomi. The latest Android One-powered smartphone from Xiaomi was the Mi A3, which was released three years ago. This might be the device’s sixth and final update. After its final firmware update, the Mi A3 will become unsupported.

The July 2022 security patch will be distributed to compatible Mi A3 smartphones via an over-the-air (OTA) update. The relevant details on the most recent patch will be available in the phone’s settings. Users can also get the update by using the Xiaomi Firmware Updater. The last update for the Mi A3 models in Europe was in June 2022.

Samsung

July security update for Galaxy A72 and Galaxy A33 5G

In the most recent Galaxy A72 update, which is currently rolling out in some nations including Russia and India, Samsung has a patch for both issues.

The July 2022 security patch, which addresses 41 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures in addition to three major Android OS vulnerabilities, is included in the latest Galaxy A72 upgrade and has firmware version A725FXXU4BVG1.

Since the Galaxy A72 receives security updates every three months, it’s probable that the A72 may only receive one or two more minor updates before switching to Android 13 and One UI 5.0. The inclusion of the device in Samsung’s policy of allowing select users three major OS upgrades means that the device is compatible with both Android 13 and Android 14.

The Galaxy A33 5G’s most recent software update is firmware version A336EDXU2AVG2. The update includes the July 2022 security patch, which addresses more than 50 security flaws. Additionally, it can feature general bug fixes and enhancements to device stability.

You can update the software on your Galaxy A33 5G if you reside in India, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, or Vietnam by going to Settings » Software update and selecting Download and install.

Huawei

EMUI 12 for Huawei P30 Lite, P20, and P20 Pro

The distribution of the crucial EMUI 12 build among Huawei’s previous flagship handsets is currently ramping up. The business has begun rolling out the updated EMUI 12 operating system in the Middle East region after making it available for Huawei P20 handsets.

Users of the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro smartphones are relishing the opportunity to use the stable EMUI 12. The smartphone hasn’t yet been anticipated to get such a significant update.

According to the information, the latest software update lands on the P20 series surface with build number 12.0.0.225 (C185E4R1P1). However, given that the update’s enormous 4.57GB package size, we advise users to have plenty of space.

For a better smart collaboration experience, the most recent software update for the P30 Lite gives you an intuitive UI and a multi-device area in the control panel. Users of the P30 Lite have a lot to explore in EMUI 12, therefore you should definitely download it.

On the other hand, you may access Settings > System & updates from here, tap on Software updates to move on to the CHECK FOR UPDATES button, and then download the stable EMUI 12 software update for the Huawei P30 Lite. From this point on, the system will prompt you with more commands and inform you of the firmware’s current state.
