Harangpack Kft., which deals in label production, increased its capacity in Kerekegyháza in Bács-Kiskun county with the support of the European Union, by about 360 million forints.
László Csaba, one of the company’s owners, said: they won HUF 200.4 million in the extra tender of the Economic Development and Innovation Operative Program (Ginop) with a 70 percent support intensity for the development, the remaining amount was financed from their own resources and loans.
They bought new equipment, including a printing press, an assembly machine and notebooks, provided English language training to their employees and installed a solar panel system, he said.
The main profile of Harangpack Kft. is the production of labels, mainly the production of high-quality packaging labels and other marking labels for the food industry, multilayer labels and labels with variable data printed with digital technology.
The owner of the almost 40-year-old business emphasized: they bought a semi-rotary offset printing press, which has low operating costs and can be used for almost all raw materials and serial quantities, but at the same time, it is not widespread in Hungary due to its high cost and the need for high-level professional training.
Csaba László explained: with the development, they expect a capacity expansion of about 20 percent, and with this they can continue to ensure their presence in the wine, food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

According to his information, their management in 2023 was similar to the previous year, their sales revenue increased by about HUF 80 million, but exact data will only be available to them after the ledger balance.
According to publicly available company data, the net sales revenue of Harangpack Gyártó és Kereskedő Kft. in Keregyháza, which employs around fifty workers, was HUF 1.96 billion in 2022, and HUF 1.53 billion a year earlier. In 2022, the company closed with a profit of more than HUF 112 million, while in 2021 the after-tax profit was HUF 39 million.
