In addition to narrow passenger information, the system is also suitable for displaying announcements and local information materials.

HC Linear Kft. from Pécs, which develops IT systems, has developed an electronic passenger information board with a changeable interface that can be controlled via a wireless connection.

An e-paper-based, solar-powered passenger information system was created as a result of the development of more than HUF 290 million, almost 70 percent supported by the Economic Development and Innovation Operative Program (GINOP) Plusz.

The passenger information system powered by solar panels, with minimal consumption and an interface that can be modified via wireless connection, is able to replace timetables and other information papers, so with the spread of the device, passenger information becomes more dynamic and faster, flight cancellations and schedule changes can be tracked immediately with its help.

In addition to narrow passenger information, the system is also suitable for displaying announcements and local information materials.

Founded in 1990 to solve unique IT problems, implement ideas and develop integrated IT systems, Hungarian-owned HC Linear employs about half a hundred people. According to public company data, last year it achieved a taxable profit of HUF 1.001 billion with net sales of HUF 2.595 billion, while a year earlier It earned HUF 2.923 billion in revenue and HUF 657 million in profit.
