- Those mothers who are receiving an unemployment benefit, contributory or not.
- Mothers who have a part-time or full-time job and have been registered with the Social Security or Mutual Fund for at least 30 days.
- Families that are in a situation of single parenthood for different reasons, such as one of the parents being hospitalized for more than a year, remaining in prison or having sole custody.
- The father or guardian in case of death of the mother.
- Parents or parents of the same sex who are also entitled to this payment.

How to order the baby check online step by step?

The first thing you should do is access the Electronic Headquarters of the Tax Agency. It is a page that adapts perfectly to mobile phones, so you will not have a problem executing the entire procedure from your Android.
These are the steps you must follow to request the baby check from your phone
Once there, do the following:
- press on Model 140. Presentation. Keep in mind what the lower notice mentions: “If you are already collecting the advance payment, you do NOT have to submit a new application for the same child. If you meet the new requirements, you will continue to collect the advance payment“.
- In the next step you must identify yourself. do it with a electronic certificate or by entering your ID in the text field.
- If you opt for the second option, which is the simplest, the Tax Agency will send you a security code. First, you will receive it in the Cl@ve application. If you don’t have it installed, don’t worry. You just have to wait a bit for a link to request an SMS with the PIN to appear. You must enter this code in the field PIN.

- Once everything is ready, click on Validate.
- Sign the form and submit it.
- Download the acknowledgment of receipt in PDF to record that you have completed the process.
How to fill out the model 140 form for the maternity deduction
In the form corresponding to model 140 for the Maternity deduction you must enter the following data:
- Scheme, Mutual or SEPE Benefit. Mark your employment status. Do not forget this: it is possible to receive the payment of 100 euros as a baby check even if you are collecting unemployment.
- Several taxpayers entitled to the application of the deduction. Click on this option if you have to enter the data of another taxpayer who is entitled to apply the deduction.
- “Descendant” section. In this section you have to provide the data of the boy or girl. Start by entering the ID number (it is not mandatory, because some children do not have it), their full name and their date of birth. - Bank account. To finish, enter the bank account where you want to receive the payment.
When are they going to start paying me the baby check of 100 euros?
It is normal that you have asked yourself that question. Well, the Tax Agency has a period of six months to resolve the file and manage the request. Keep in mind that, if things are not clear, it is very likely that you will have to provide more information to the Treasury.
If there are any delays in processing your application, the payments corresponding to that period will be regularized. Occasionally, several payments may be received to bring the outstanding monthly payments up to date.
