As a result of the development, the company has become more modern and cost-effective, which can meet the needs of its customers faster.
With the support of the European Union, Hydro-Kor Kft. in Szentes, which mainly deals with the mechanical construction of drinking and wastewater treatment plants, expanded its capacity with the construction of a new hall and the commissioning of a modern diagnostic measuring station, with an investment of HUF 262 million.
Hydro-Kor Kft. designs and implements the water engineering of wastewater purifiers, drinking water treatment plants, industrial water purifiers, and swimming pools, as well as the construction of wastewater purifiers for car washes. The company also manufactures metal structures, filter tanks and degassers.
According to the announcement, the company created an industrial hall building with a gross floor area of 755 square meters at its site in Szentes, Berekhát, during the investment made with a conditional refund of 183.47 million forints from the European Union.
The expansion was necessary because the company began to outgrow its existing warehouse. The company’s new drinking water diagnostic measuring station was also located in the new building. It is suitable for the pressure test of filter tanks, the tightness test of atmospheric tanks, degassing equipment, the diagnosis and adjustment of the filtration technology of filter tanks – the setting of filtration, flushing speed, filtration resistance – and the testing of degassing equipment. The measuring station also includes two pools with a total volume of 45 cubic meters.
As a result of the development, the company has become more modern and cost-effective, which can meet the needs of its customers faster. After the implementation of the project, Hydro-Kor Kft. expects a 10-15 percent increase in sales revenue.
According to publicly available company data, the net sales revenue of Hydro-Kor Kft., founded in 2011 and owned by Hungarian private individuals and employing 19 employees, was almost HUF 304 million last year, which was 65 percent higher than the previous year. The company’s profit after tax was HUF 20.5 million in 2021, and HUF 55.8 million last year.
