The third T20 match between India and Afghanistan in Bengaluru ended in a tie in the second Super Over. Indian team has won thrice in this.

Rohit

The Indian team batted first in this match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Captain Rohit Sharma played well on behalf of the Indian team. Rohit Sharma, who was ducked out in the first 2 matches, stood firm in this match and moved towards a big innings. Rohit Sharma scored 121 runs off 69 balls. This is his fifth century in T20Is. With this, he also achieved the record of being the player who scored the highest century in T20 Internationals.

Along with Rohit’s action, Ringu Singh also hit sixes in the final innings and crossed his half-century. Due to the action of the two, the Indian team added 36 runs in the last over only and the score became 212.

For Afghanistan, their top 3 batsmen scored fifties and the match was interesting. Gulbadin had stood till the end and made the fire fly. He scored 18 runs in the last over to tie the match. As the match was tied, the game went to Super Over.

Afghanistan batted first in the Super Over and added 16 runs. Mohammed Nabi hit the penultimate ball of the over bowled by Mukesh for a six. 3 runs off the last ball. There was an argument between Nabi and Rohit. Nabi would have been beaten by that ball. But he ran.
