Intel ARC Graphics with new drivers - performance increases for both graphics cards and Meteor Lake systemsSince Intel introduced its graphics cards, the manufacturer has been constantly working on improving drivers, as a result of which many games have seen solid performance increases on Alchemist chips. Drivers are constantly being improved also for the still new, integrated Intel ARC Graphics graphics chips in Meteor Lake processors. This can be seen in our recent tests, where sometimes we see large increases in performance on the same iGPU. However, the work is still ongoing, as evidenced by the new driver package.

Intel has released new drivers for Intel ARC graphics cards and integrated Intel ARC Graphics on Meteor Lake processors. Drivers number 31.0.101.5379 bring optimizations, among others: for Diablo IV with RT and Horizon Forbidden West, but also noticeably improve performance in many other productions.

The Intel Game On Driver graphics driver number 31.0.101.5379 brings, among others: official support for four games: Diablo IV with Ray Tracing, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Horizon Forbidden West and The Legend of the Condor Heroes. In addition to supporting new games, there is also plenty of optimization for both newer and older titles. For example, in Dragon’s Dogma 2, which debuts tomorrow, Intel ARC graphics cards can count on a 36% increase in performance in Full HD resolution (and a 31% increase in Quad HD resolution), at high details and in progressive rendering mode. In turn, for integrated Intel ARC Graphics systems in Meteor Lake processors, the increases reach 18% in Full HD, at low graphics settings and with progressive rendering mode.

Mobile Xe-LPG systems can count on a significant increase in performance in the game Assassin’s Creed Origins (DX11) – here on medium settings in Full HD the increase reaches 117%. In turn, desktop Intel ARC cards will benefit from new drivers in the game Detroit: Become Human with the Vulkan API, where the performance increase in Full HD at the highest details reaches 137%, and in Quad HD – as much as 172%. A solid improvement can also be seen in God of War, where at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and the highest graphics settings, Intel ARC cards will now achieve on average 36% better results than before.
