Why Did Chad Michael Murry Leave One Tree Hill?

Chad Michael Murray left one tree hill in 2009 after his character, Lucas Scott, reached the conclusion of his story arc.

Murray cited wanting to move on to new opportunities as the reason for his departure.

But you can still watch him in several films, including Outlaws and Angels (2016) left behind (2014), and fruitvale station (2013).

He also recently starred in the television series Agent Carter (2015-2016), Survive The Night (2020) and Fortress (2021).
