The MSI G253PF won’t take up much space on your desk. The manufacturer used a 24.5-inch IPS matrix (referred to as Rapid IPS) with a refresh rate of 380 Hz and Full HD resolution. According to the declaration, the GtG response time is 1 ms, and the maximum screen brightness is 320 nits (in HDR mode it increases to 400 nits). The contrast ratio is 1000:1, so we are dealing with a value typical for IPS screens. It is worth remembering that you will need to use DisplayPort to enable the highest refresh mode, because HDMI will limit the frequency to 240 Hz.

MSI has provided three video ports – two HDMI 2.0b and one DisplayPort 1.4a; next to them there is a headphone output. The coverage of the Adobe RGB, DCI-P3 and sRGB color spaces is 85, 83 and 106 percent, respectively, and the panel is able to display over a billion shades.
