NASA launches an application to know the exact point where the International Space Station is at all times
Would you like to see the International Space Station (ISS) with your own eyes? Now you can do it thanks to the new mobile application launched by NASA: Spot the Station. It is a free app that allows you to know when and where the ISS will appear in the sky, receive notifications of sightings based on your location, and access information and resources about the space laboratory.
Spot the Station uses your device’s GPS to determine your positionshows you the direction and angle you should look to see the ISS. It also tells you how long the sighting will last, the distance at which the ISS is and the magnitude of its brightness. The ISS is the third brightest object in the sky, after the Sun and the Moon, and moves at a speed of about 28,000 kilometers per hour. Therefore, it can only be seen when it is night in your area and the ISS passes overhead.

The International Space Station is one of humanity’s most impressive achievements. It is an orbital laboratory that houses several astronauts and carries out scientific experiments in microgravity conditions. The ISS orbits around the earth about 400 kilometers high, can be seen with the naked eye if you know when and where to look.
