New Honor 50 leaks leave little to the imagination – Phandroid

Over the past few weeks, we have been learning more and more information about Honor’s return to the smartphone market. The company is gearing up to unveil the Honor 50 lineup of devices, and it will be doing so at an event in China on June 16th. More recently, we also learned that Honor will be able to use Google’s GMS services, now that it has been sold off from Huawei.

Thanks to Ishan Agarwal and 91Mobiles, we now know even more about what’s to come when the Honor 50 family is announced. Starting things off, we have the Honor 50 SE, which features a 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD display, while being powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset. Inside that enormous camera module, we’ll have a triple camera array sporting a 100MP primary lens, along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro camera. Finally, the 50 SE will sport a 4,000mAh battery which may seem a bit small, but Honor has also included 66W fast charging capabilities to get you topped off quickly.

Moving onto the Honor 50 5G, the company opted to go with Qualcomm for processing power, as it will make use of the Snapdragon 778G SoC. The display measures in a 6.57-inches and makes use of a FHD+ OLED panel. Headlining the camera array will be a 108MP lens with an f/1.9 aperture, along with the same 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lenses from the 50 SE. But with the 50 5G, we’ll also be getting a 2MP depth sensor. Honor packed a slightly larger battery into the Honor 50 5G, with the included 4,300mAh cell and the same 66W fast charging speeds.

Rounding out the pack will be Honor’s new “flagship” handset in the Honor 50 Pro 5G. This device offers the largest display out of the trio, with a 6.72-inch FHD+ OLED panel. The same Snapdragon 778G will be at the helm, and it also sports the same quad camera array from the Honor 50 5G. The first big difference here is the addition of a 32MP selfie camera to go along with the 16MP lens found on the Honor 50 SE and 50 5G. Honor also will drop down the battery size a bit, coming in with a 4,000mAh cell. But this is somewhat remedied with the boost in charging speeds thanks to the 100W fast charging rate.

There are still a few key specs missing from this latest leak, including RAM and storage options. But with Honor set to unveil the trio of handsets just a few days from now, we’ll either learn more ahead of the event, or just have to wait for Honor to tell us themselves.
