It will be addressed to people who care about supporting the latest NVIDIA techniques and at the same time do not want or cannot afford to buy a faster system. A graphic prepared by the manufacturer has been added to the network, which confirms recent reports on the price. Power consumption during gameplay and idle was also revealed.

On the slide shared by the VideoCardz portal, we can see some interesting details. First of all, the price of the latest graphics card from the Ada Lovelace family has been confirmed. Interested players need to prepare USD 599, which gives about PLN 3,200 after adding the Polish VAT rate. This also means that compared to the previous generation, the manufacturer has made a $ 100 increase, because the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 model was $ 499 on the day of release. In addition, the L2 cache capacity, memory bandwidth and type of GPU core used were confirmed.

The graphic also includes information on power consumption. At rest, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 consumes 10 W, and after playing the video, this value increases to 16 W. During the game, the new card is to be noticeably more energy efficient than its predecessor. During the tests, the manufacturer recorded a thirteen percent decrease in average power consumption. At the same time, the theoretical computing power of the FP32 (for single-precision calculations) increased to 29 TFLOPS. So gamers can expect the performance of one of the fastest cards of the previous generation – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 – while maintaining power consumption at the level of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.
