NVIDIA Studio - new driver update brings more AI features and will enhance RTX Remix software with DLSS 3.5Although most of us use NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready drivers, graphics cards from the Green stable also have a version of NVIDIA Studio drivers. As we can guess, this version is created with the work of computer graphic designers in mind, and recently also with the use of AI algorithms. The latest update 551.86 mainly focuses on the latter aspect, although gamers should also be happy thanks to the RTX Remix update.

The latest NVIDIA Studio driver update, version 551.86, is now available for download. The changes include: new AI functions for Adobe programs and enrichment of the RTX Remix tool with DLSS 3.5 support.

At the beginning, perversely, we will focus on the announcement of the update, because the RTX Remix tool will soon receive support for DLSS 3.5 and Ray Reconstruction function. This will allow for even better modification of titles by adding ray tracing and path tracing. A tool has been added to the software supported by the driver NVIDIA Omniverse Audio2Face for the iClone 8 program. It allows, using artificial intelligence algorithms, to generate animations of realistic movements of the character’s mouth based on the attached audio track, regardless of the language in which the audio file is applied. In this update The interface has also been improved, providing even more precise control over tuning animations using sliders and the keyframe editor.

He also received support OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) in version 30.1. Support for the Real-Time Messaging Protocol has been introduced, which has open source code created by Adobe. It is designed to allow audio and video to be transmitted while maintaining a low-latency connection. This protocol enables streaming of high dynamic range HDR content and efficient video encoding to the YouTube platform. Additionally, Substance 3D Stager and Substance 3D Sampler from Adobe have received updates with additional AI functions that improve the creation of 3D graphics. We’re talking about the “Text to Texture” functionality, which allows graphic designers to create textures and various background variants using text descriptions. However, that’s not all, as the update also fixes several known bugs:

  • SideFX Houdini will no longer crash when optixModuleCreateWithTasks is invoked.
  • Fixed video encoding errors using NVENC on GeForce GTX 1600 graphics cards,
  • RTX HDR now correctly uses saturation and a tone curve that corresponds to gamma 2.2 instead of the older gamma in version 2.0,
  • RTX Digital Vibrance should now correctly identify the Paint.net application,
  • Game Hitman 3 should no longer stutter on some Advanced Optimus notebooks.
