It’s been pretty hot here the past few weeks but yesterday our natural air conditioner turned back on and the high was a pleasant 76 F (24.4 C). That’s because we had fog in the morning from the marine layer moving in off the Pacific. Even after it burns off this keeps the temperature from getting too high. I had a cool, foggy, and enjoyable morning ride, and the fog was just lifting at the end. This was an easy-paced ride as I had gone for a longer and harder ride with my group on Tuesday.
El Toro is now visible as the fog is lifting.
