A Hungarian incubator company, Quantum Leap, is launching an innovation program in Uzbekistan – announced the company’s professional partner, the European-based Startup Campus.
The InnoGEN Youth Program Uzbekistan, developed with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, aims to develop the process of innovation management and technology transfer implemented in the Central Asian region.
The initiative was also presented at InnoWeek Tashkent in the Central Asian country, Startup Campus also started negotiations with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, which is the first serious interested in the initiative.
InnoGEN can contribute to regional development and the development of business and technological relations between regions. Hungarian and German universities also participate in the program, and Uzbek university students are offered the opportunity to meet innovative European companies, build relationships, and get to know best practices in Europe, they added.
Quantum Leap Innovation and Industrial Development Kft. provides financial and professional assistance to start-ups, and supports them as an investor or consultant in obtaining capital for their projects.
Based on its public report, the Győr-based company achieved sales revenue of almost HUF 4 million in 2022 and HUF 8.2 million in 2021. Last year they closed almost without a profit, before that they closed with a profit of HUF 2.5 million.
