“Director P. Vasu told me that he was directing a Rajini film called Arunachalam and that I would be playing the villain. Suddenly, Rajinikanth called him on the phone one day and asked him to come to his house.

When he went to his house, he ran and fell on his feet. I also fell at his feet. It’s all just acting. We are actors. After that we both drank alcohol. Then Rajinikanth said, ‘Arunachalam was not directed by B. Vasu. We have changed the director. Sundar Sidhan will direct. Also three villains are going to play in the story. Therefore, if you act, it will not work’, he told me.
