Somehow Murugadoss came to know about this when the story of Ramana was being discussed and he immediately started the shooting of Ramana with Vijayakanth. But director Nandakumar Ramana had registered the film’s story with the actor’s association under the name of Aasaan.

Nandakumar went to tell the story of Ramana again to Vijayakanth without knowing that the shooting of Ramana was going on. The captain got angry after hearing the story. It was only then that Nandakumar, who was dumbfounded, came to know that the story was being shot under the name of Ramana.
Shocked to hear this, Nandakumar complained to the Actors’ Association and decided to give compensation to Nandakumar to take part in the consultation. But I don’t want any compensation, they have gone peacefully by saying that this kind of thing doesn’t happen again.

A few days later, Vijayakanth called Nandakumar on the phone and told him if there is any story, he told the story of Tennavan and Vijayakanth agreed. But at the same time, Vijayakanth asked director ANR Manohar for the story and also committed him.

After that, Nandakumar tells his story to Manohar and Manohar told Vijayakanth that if Manohar likes the story, he can do Tennavan’s story first.
