“Retiring from all forms of cricket!”- Joginder Sharma Urukum | 2007 T20 World Cup hero Joginder Sharma announces retirement from all forms of cricket


In the final of the first T20 World Cup held in 2007, the Indian team led by Dhoni faced Pakistan. Joginder Sharma, who bowled the last over with Pakistan needing 13 runs to win, took the wicket of Misbah who was firmly standing in the field in the 3rd ball and gave the Indian team the victory.

He was involved in a car accident in 2011 and did not participate in cricket matches for some time. After that he participated in only a few cricket matches. However, 39-year-old Joginder Sharma has played several matches for Haryana from 2002 to 2017.
