Samsung Galaxy A52 versus Pixel 4a 5G – Phandroid

The Samsung Galaxy S21 has gotten a lot of attention, but the new Galaxy S52 from Samsung is poised to outsell the phone by a huge margin. Last year’s Galaxy S51 smartphone was the second best-selling device of the year, right behind Apple’s iPhone 11 and with the improvements offered this year, the A52 should be just as successful.

This year, Samsung has delivered some noticeable improvements to the Galaxy A52’s camera, even blessing it with 4K video capture from its 32MP selfie camera – a feature that most flagship devices don’t even have. Since the Galaxy A52 sells for an even $500, we thought it would be interesting to see how its camera compares with another $500 smartphone – the Pixel 4a 5G from Google.

On paper, the Samsung has a clear advantage with its four rear cameras and higher-resolution sensors, but is it enough to take down the Pixel 4a 5G? Take a look at the side-by-side photos and video comparisons we’ve put together and let us know which device you’d pick if you’re on the market for a great mid-range smartphone.
