In the middle of the month, the first AMD Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards in the form of Radeon RX 7900 XT and Radeon RX 7900 XTX will hit stores. The availability of reference designs has been confirmed, although some AMD partners should also be able to deliver their proprietary card models. One of the companies that has been cooperating with AMD for years is Sapphire, and they undoubtedly produce some of the better non-reference designs. The Chinese company has finally published the first (but short) announcement of its proprietary Radeon RX 7000 models.
Sapphire has published the first announcement of upcoming, proprietary graphics cards with Radeon RX 7000 systems. The manufacturer confirms, among others, return to use of the steam chamber.
AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX will compete with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card, which AMD itself admits
On the company’s official Twitter account, a few-second announcement of new graphics cards appeared. The shared hashtags show that the design of the non-reference cards was used for both the Radeon RX 7900 XT and the Radeon RX 7900 XTX. First of all, the company confirms the return of the “Vapor-X” solution and we are talking about the use of a steam chamber, perfectly visible in the quoted material. Vapor-X technology has featured in Sapphire’s TOXIC, NITRO, and Vapor-X series in the past. However, the following trailer is only for the NITRO series.
VAPOR-X IS BACK!

PowerColor announces Radeon RX 7900 XTX / XT Hellhound graphics cards. The graphic reveals two 8-pin power connectors
We also partially see the power section and the PCB itself – this is not much different from the reference PCB designed by AMD. A short announcement confirms one more piece of information. You can see three 8-pin power plugs, which indicates a much higher power limit, and thus – much greater OC potential. Earlier information indicated that AMD’s partners will have quite a lot of space to dial much higher core clocks compared to AMD’s reference design. Unfortunately, Sapphire did not reveal when to expect new cards from the NITRO family on sale.
