What Is Pretty Little Liars About?
In the small Pennsylvania town of Rosewood, best friends Spencer Hastings, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin and Emily Fields keep complex secrets.
A year after Alison’s mysterious disappearance, the estranged friends reunite after their friend’s murdered body is discovered.
However, they begin to receive messages from a mysterious figure called ‘A’, who threatens to expose their deepest secrets as leverage to dictate their every move and imply their involvement in Alison’s murder.
Torn between fear and confusion, the friends suspect that “A” may be their former leader, but their distrust of the twisted universe in which they live triggers increasing reflection.
The deeper the mysteries unfold, the more ground “A” seems to gain, staying one step ahead of them at every turn and threatening exposure that might unravel their lives and those of their families, friends and significant others.
In addition to dealing with a secret they try to keep at all costs, the four friends have several personal problems to solve in their small town, conflicts in their family, and dramas in their love relationships.

What Is The Appropriate Age To Watch Pretty Little Liars?
Pretty Little Liars is a drama series where teenage characters engage in many naughty behaviors over seven seasons, including stealing, defying parental rules, breaking in and living in the gossip world.
Intense physical and sexual encounters stop just before the act itself, with no graphic scenes. Emotional betrayal is common, as are extramarital affairs, teacher-student involvement, and manipulation.
Violence includes murder, blood and corpses, and mistaken choices lead characters into dangerous situations. The language is not always correct, with teenagers testing boundaries with drugs, shoplifting, and so on.
Many scenes show teenagers obsessed with their appearance and clothes, where bullying plays a central role in the plot, as the teenagers are harassed and blackmailed by an unknown person.
However, some moments highlight the importance of strong friendships and family relationships, where most characters mature and loyalties change.
Although it is entirely up to parents what kind of content they allow their children to watch, we recommend this series for more mature teens, aged 15 and up.
Is Pretty Little Liars Worth Watching?
Pretty Little Liars is full of suspense, mystery and beautiful, stylish characters who bend the rules to achieve their goals.
The story of the series hooks viewers to the screen but shows a twisted sense of how high school really is.
The main characters dress for school like they’re on a magazine cover and lack neither time nor parental supervision to stop them from chasing murder suspects, snuggling with a handsome teacher or trespassing on private property in search of clues.
However, positive insights can be found in the characters’ evolutions resulting from “A”’s bullying, making them rethink their past actions and become more empathetic towards others.
The show has achieved worldwide success, especially among teenagers, and has become a series worth watching from start to finish.
