One of the main problems that you surely come across when writing messages or emails from your mobile is that its keyboard is set to a language and if you have to use another language to communicate with your interlocutor, you have no choice but to continue using the keyboard without the prediction or change the language manuallywith the inconvenience of having to constantly changing language.
Well, this problem already has a solution because Gboard has a function that allows you add all the languages you want and use them interchangeably without losing word prediction functionality and without the need to be changing from one language to another from time to time.
To use this function you simply have to add a new language, like English, to Gboardsomething you can do by following these simple steps:
- Access any messaging app and click on the write box to open the google keyboard
- Click on the three vertical dots button that appears on the right side of the top bar of Gboard
- tap on the button Settings
- Enter the section Languages
- Press the button add keyboard which is located at the bottom of the app
- Select the language that you want to add from the list or search for it using the magnifying glass that appears in the upper right corner
- Finally, access the language you want to add, select the keyboard layout and click on the button Clever which is located at the bottom right
You should keep in mind that if you want Gboard shows you the predictions of the languages you addyou have to check that the switch that appears to the right of the option Writing in multiple languages in the menu of each language It is activated. Also, you should know that Gboard will show you the predictions of a maximum of 3 languages.
Once this is done, you can write words and phrases in the three languages that you have configured and receive predictions from each of themsomething really useful to answer messages in chats that are in another language or to use language learning applications such as Duolingo or Memrise.
