Sony DualSense Edge – an extensive controller for the PlayStation 5 console will debut at a price of around PLN 1,150

In the materials published by Sony on YouTube, you can already read a short instruction showing how to personalize the new Japanese manufacturer’s pad step by step. It will be possible to replace the rear buttons, analog stick modules and their caps, as well as adjust the stroke of the triggers and create usage profiles. The whole thing is very easy to do even by inexperienced do-it-yourselfers.

Replacing the overlays on the analog sticks requires only their slight detachment and installing the desired version. The hardest part seems to be replacing the analog stick modules, as it requires partial opening of the pad housing. The guide, however, describes how to do it in a simple way. The pad will also be equipped with special switches that allow you to adjust the stroke of the triggers. It can be assumed that a short jump will be appropriate for games characterized by the need to use the trigger quickly, for example in FPS games. A longer stroke will probably be used in titles that require gradual pressing of the trigger, i.e. in racing titles. Two buttons on the bottom of the controller will allow you to switch usage profiles. It will be possible to configure three custom sets of settings. They will allow you to personalize the button mapping, adjust the sensitivity of the analog sticks and their dead zone, adjust the dead zone of the triggers, as well as the intensity of vibrations and trigger effects.
