The number of users of the Electronic Health Service Area (EESZT) mobile application is constantly growing, the application will soon change its name, the Ministry of the Interior announced.
The application of the digital version of the coronavirus vaccination card has been expanded to include prescriptions written for the patient. So far, the application has been downloaded by 2.2 million people, and the e-recipe application has been opened by 140 thousand people. Taking advantage of the advantages of digital healthcare, the application will be expanded with other functions, according to the plans, the findings will also be available for viewing.
As you know, in the last few weeks, a call was made for a name for the application currently called myEESZT. The finish line was named “Health Window”. According to the state secretary, this name must be searched for in the various application stores in the next update.
From a professional point of view, the goal has always been that, in addition to the e-prescription written in the digital cloud, the patient could also check what medicine he received, with what dosage and how long the given prescription is valid. This application already fulfills all these expectations. This speeds up the administrative part of the drug exchange, giving more time for the pharmacist consultation with the patient, which the chamber has always advocated. This current development is also fortunate because it was not necessary to implement a new IT development in the pharmacies.
In the Hungarian Chamber of Pharmacists, they have started work on the renewal of the drug safety directive, in principle this work will be completed in a few weeks.
