The business incubator house in the industrial park in Nyírbátor is being expanded with HUF 460 million, using EU and domestic funds, the municipality of the small town of Nyírség announced.

The building, which was handed over in 2011 and is owned by the local authority, is almost 100 percent used, where ten businesses currently rent premises or parts of workshops. Eleven offices and six workshops will be created with the investment, along with the necessary service rooms, they wrote in the announcement.

The new wing of the center can host local micro, small or medium-sized enterprises registered for a maximum of three years, as well as start-up and start-up enterprises. The expansion of the incubator house is taking place in two phases, the development is expected to be completed this summer.

The municipality can use HUF 460 million from the Széchenyi 2020 program as a non-refundable subsidy for the investment.

The 57-hectare industrial park in Nyírbátor operates, among others, the Danish Coloplast, which produces medical aids, the aircraft parts factory of the German Diehl, Rosenberger Magyarország Kft., also a German-owned manufacturer of vehicle electronic components, and the plastic bottle factories of the Italian-owned Serioplast and Farmol.
