Hunt

Based on the non-fiction book New York Times bestseller and Edgar Award-winning author James L. Swanson, Hunt is a conspiracy thriller about one of the best-known but least understood crimes in history, the astonishing story of The Search for John Wilkes Booth after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. The limited series of seven parts stars Emmy Award-winning actor Tobias Menzies (The crown, Game of Thrones, stranger), and is created by Emmy nominee Monica Beletsky (fargo, The remains, Friday night lights), who also performs the duties of showrunner and executive producer. The Emmy nominee Carl Franklin (Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, A false step, The demon dressed in blue) directed the first two episodes and is also an executive producer of the series.

Starring alongside Menzies is Anthony Boyle (Tetris, The plot against America), Lovie Simone (Green leaf), Will Harrison (Everyone loves Daisy Jones), Brandon Flynn (For thirteen reasons), Damian O’Hare (Hatfields and McCoy), Glenn Morshower (The resident), Patton Oswalt (AP Biography), Matt Walsh (veep) and Hamish Linklater (The big bet).
