In April last year, we informed about the premiere of DDR5 Manta XPrism RGB RAM modules from V-Color, which, despite relatively high clock speeds, were characterized by quite high timings. The picture of the situation changed slightly at the beginning of this year, as the Taiwanese company, in cooperation with MSI, decided to refresh its product offer. New, even faster memory sets are planned to ensure lower latencies. So let’s see what we can expect.
V-Color, in cooperation with MSI, will launch a refreshed series of fast DDR5 Manta XPrism MPOWER RAM memories. The new 48 GB and 32 GB sets are to be characterized by tighter timings and high clocks as part of the Intel XMP 3.0 profile.
V-Color Manta XPrism RGB 48 GB 8200 MHz – an announcement of very fast DDR5 RAM memory chips for demanding users
Like the previous modules from the Manta XPrism RGB series, the new sets are dedicated mainly to top-class Intel processors. The products are based on DDR5 memory chips provided by SK-Hynix. The PCB, compared to its predecessors, is covered with a black heat sink. However, the RGB lighting, which consists of 16 individual LEDs, has remained unchanged. The offer will include three different sets, the first of which has a capacity of 48 GB, reaching speeds of 8400 MT / s with CL latencies of 40-52-52-130.

The second set from the Manta XPrism MPOWER series also has a capacity of 48 GB, but its data transfer speed is 8200 MT/s with CL delays of 40-52-52-128. The last set includes modules with a total capacity of 32 GB, speeds of 8200 MT/s and timings equal to CL 38-48-48-128. All mentioned RAM modules support the built-in Intel XMP 3.0 profile and operate at a voltage of 1.45 V. The manufacturer additionally informs that the new series RAM DDR5 has been adapted for overclocking.
