When Is Coraline 2 Coming Out?
Unfortunately there is no good news on that front. As Coraline was written by Neil Gaimanhe would need to write a sequel.
When speaking to Comicbook.com, he said: “What I’ve always said is that I wouldn’t do a Coraline 2 unless I could come up with a story that was as good as Coraline 1. And so far I haven’t come up with (anything)…Actually, as good or better because you don’t want to do, you just don’t want to do one of those sequels that sort of feels like a made for video sequel.
“If you’re gonna do something, it needs to be a Toy Story 2 or The Godfather Part 2 level sequel where you’re actually upping your game.
“So I absolutely wouldn’t rule it out, but would absolutely want to go ‘Okay, that is the thing that is just even cooler than Coraline.”
He also denied rumours of Coraline 2 on twitter, multiple times!
Is Coraline Suitable For Young Kids?
The story is a two-pronged cautionary tale, for parents and kids not to take each other for granted.
It is also for people who constantly compare their lives to others’, only to discover that the “grass isn’t greener” because it’s all an illusion.
Coraline ultimately learns that sometimes imperfect messy lives aren’t as bad as they seem. Considering how many family movies are formulaic, Coraline is a refreshing departure from the norm.
This is a visually stunning film that will entrance viewers of all ages. Officially the movie has a PG rating, which means parental guidance is suggested.
