Vijayakanth made his debut in 1979 in the movie “Inikkum Ihla”. Sudhakar played the lead role in this. Radhika acted opposite him. In this, Vijayakanth played the role of Arun.
This film was followed by the film “Akal Lanmu”. Vijayakanth was eating one day during the shooting of his next film after ‘Akal Lampu’. When Hero entered the shooting site, someone there stopped Vijayakanth from eating and said, “Hero has arrived”.

“When I offered to eat during the shooting of a film, the hero came and took me away. It was better to get stuck than to eat.
After starting my Rauther production company, I decided to feed the crew well. Earlier, they used to have food in pots. I was the first to come up with the method of adding rice to leaves. It doesn’t matter if you think I’m arrogant for saying this.
I decided that everyone on the set should eat what I eat. If I eat cool drinks everyone should eat cool drinks, if I eat mutton everyone should eat mutton. After taking this decision, I implemented it. Thus Vijayakanth, there has been such a sad story behind Kodai Vallall.
