XPG is a brand owned by ADATA Corporation. It deals with the production of RAM memory, data carriers as well as accessories and equipment for players. Today (April 26, 2023) the XPG XENIA 15G gaming laptop was presented, which will be the most powerful equipment (in terms of specifications) in the company’s offer. On board we will find a 13th generation Intel Core i7 processor and two variants of dedicated graphics systems from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series.
ADATA, through its XPG brand, introduced a new laptop aimed at gamers. XPG XENIA 15G is to be characterized by a very good price-performance ratio.
Acer expands its range of business notebooks. New models from the TravelMate P6, P4 and P2 series will go on sale
More and more manufacturers of laptops for players decide on quite traditional designs that do not stand out from the crowd. The XPG XENIA 15G is certainly one of them. However, despite its subtle design, it boasts the use of modern technologies related to the cooling system and quite efficient components. The heart of the equipment is the Intel Core i7-13700H processor, which has been equipped with 14 cores and 20 threads with a clock speed of 3.7 – 5.0 GHz. It is complemented by a maximum of 32 GB of DDR5 RAM (two modules) with a clock speed of 5600 MHz, but the processor supports clock speeds up to 5200 MHz in this case, so it will be lowered to this value. An SSD drive on the M.2 connector with the PCIe Gen 4×4 interface – ADATA LEGEND 850 – with a maximum capacity of 1 TB will be responsible for the data storage.

Acer Swift X 16 – a notebook designed for graphic processing equipped with AMD Ryzen 7040 series and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40
The matrix used is a 15.6-inch IPS panel with FullHD resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Its maximum brightness is 300 nits, so in this aspect it is just decent. One of the graphics systems based on the Ada Lovelace architecture – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 or 4070 – will be responsible for generating the image. Both have 8 GB of GDDR6 memory and can consume up to 140 W of power. Cooling, in turn, is a hybrid of a steam chamber and heat pipes. This is a solution usually used in quite expensive units. We also have modern USB 3.2, HDMI 2.1 and mini DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. The connectivity standards also do not differ from the entire specification, because we have Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 at our disposal. Although the manufacturer describes the device as “an impressive laptop designed for gamers (…) who are looking for the perfect balance between performance and price”, it does not give any starting amount. The equipment will probably debut soon and only then will we know more details. However, the description indicates that the price should be acceptable.
