Popular content tracker Sofa has been updated to version 3.1.3, bringing 30 new themes to the app while also changing the way people pay for them.

Previously, themes could be bought individually while also being available via the optional Super Sofa subscription. That’s no longer the case, with individual purchases removed — making themes available exclusively as part of Super Sofa. Everyone who already paid for themes will continue to be able to use them and they’ll follow people from device to device via the App Store.

The new themes span seven categories including 90s, 80s, Outerspace, and more. The new changes also see custom icons and themes become decoupled, allowing them to be developed and created separately.

Going forward, themes will be bundled exclusively with Super Sofa. This means you’ll no longer be able to purchase themes individually.

Don’t fear! If you’ve purchased themes in the past you’ll still be able to use and restore them on current and future devices. Nothing is being taken away from you.

Sofa is already one of the best iPhone and iPad apps for tracking movies, books, apps, and more and the addition of more themes is always welcome!

Sofa is available as a free download from the App Store now, with the optional Super Sofa subscription bringing new features and those themes, too.
