Channel NBC released the official trailer for the upcoming series “Quantum leapintended as a reboot of the original 1980s-1990s show. And he presents us in detail the starting conditions, at the same time introducing the main characters.

The new Quantum Leap can be seen as a continuation of the iconic adventure, as it takes place 30 years after Sam Beckett disappeared in the accelerator. Now a new team is ready to go looking for him. And, perhaps, something would have worked out for her, but her leader, Dr. Ben Song (Raymond Lee), for some reason decides to enter the accelerator himself.

They decided to leave the general pattern of the show unchanged: Ben Song incarnates into other people before a certain key event, and he has to find a way to prevent a catastrophe or change their lives. He is assisted by a holographic image of Addison (Caitlin Bassett), just as Beckett was assisted by Admiral Albert Calavici.

The Quantum Leap reboot will premiere on September 19 on NBC and Peacock.
