How informsKommersant”, ANO “Internet Development Institute” considered projects within the framework of the competition for the creation of national content in games. In total, they decided to support 177 projects of various genres, and grants have already been allocated for 14 of them.

Among the winners are three large-scale video games: the adventure “Trains“, real-time strategy “Denis Davydov“and tactical game”Sparta“.

For the development of the historical game “Trains” Watt Studio give 100 million rubles, and its total budget will be about 180 million. The plot of the game will tell about the alternative reality of Russia at the beginning of the 20th century. We will see the events of the First World War, the revolution of 1917 and others, but from a different angle.

The budget of the game “Denis Davydov” will be about 50 million rubles, it will be dedicated to the partisans of the war of 1812.

Finally, a studio is working on Sparta Lipsar, and it is dedicated to the activities of Russian mercenaries in one of the African countries. The developers will not link to real private military companies, but they plan to create a positive image of the Russian military.

The first stage of the development of “Sparta” will require 130 million, the total budget will be approximately 200 million rubles.

Recall that this spring IRI singled out RUB 260 million Russian studio Siberia Nova to create a role-playing action movie “turmoil» about the Polish intervention.
