Actor Jayam Ravi has said that the major update of Akhilan will be released soon.

The late director SB Jananathan has written the screenplay for the upcoming film starring Jayam Ravi. The film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead role.

The film is based on the true story of a gangster who rocked North Chennai. It is a well known fact that the first look posters of the film were released a few months back and were well received by the fans.

Also, the shooting of the film started in September last year. However, Jayam Ravi has said that the main update of the film will be released soon. Fans are waiting to see what kind of update this will be.
