He is currently directing Ponniyin Selvan with some of the leading directors in Tamil cinema.

The film also stars Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and many more. Cinematography is by Ravi Varman. Rahman composed the music.

It has also been announced that the film will be officially released on September 30th. In this case, the film’s promotion work is said to start soon. It has been reported that the teaser of the film will be released at a grand event in Chennai next June.
